Is there a ghost. Most Certainly. Is there a love story?? Absolutely.   A love story that has continued since 1536 to the present day. Sabina, the daughter of Richard Nugent , an English Lord who owned the castle at the time fell hopelessy in love with Orwin, son of an Irish Chieftan. Both of their families were at war with each other. Despite this,  they found love and decided to elope together, via a boat on the lake, to live happily ever after. However poor Orwin drowned on that lake and Sabina was rescued but locked herself in the castle’s tower, refusing to eat. She died broken hearted for her lost love. Visitors and guests make frequent encounters with her spirit, still in search for her lover and restless until the day she will be reunited with him.  Come see for yourself and allow yourself to be carried through the Romeo and Juliet like story. Who knows, you may even have the pleasure of meeting the beautiful Sabina yourself and more……. of her family ghosts!!!!!!!!!!!
